Ruskin bond or Robert Frost: More as a nature poet

Abstract: A Nature poet is a poet whose work mainly focuses on the natural world, which include vivid landscapes, flora and fauna, seasons, and environmental phenomena and interconnectedness of all living things. Nature poet is generally a keen observer of surroundings like leaves, their pattern, precise description of birds, their hum, sound of winds all sensory details and metaphor to evoke the essence of the natural environment. Ruskin Bond and Robert Frost both are celebrated as nature lovers, but their approaches towards writing down their observation vary due to their background. Ruskin Bond, an Indian author with British roots, he loves to write about simple beauty of hills and mountains of Himalayas where he has spent most of his years. He emphasizing solace and a sense of belonging. Whereas Robert Frost, an American poet, is known for his realistic and philosophical approach which include human beings and their challenges. He interplays between nature and human beings. Frost often uses nature as deep introspection and the exploration of existential questions. Bond is a simple playwriter who elaborates his love for nature in conversational short stories or poems. Frost has been a complex writer who portrays nature as a force that is beautiful yet indifferent, a mirror to human struggles and their dilemmas.
