Abstract: Ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is now central to today’s work strategy so companies can streamline recruiting, boost workplace performance, and raise engagement among employees. Here, the evaluation of DEI policies and emerging trends in India is performed by considering the dynamics between workforce metrics, the responsibility of leaders, and DEI-focused HR. Information from business reports and peer-reviewed articles was also added to the research by using mixed methods. The importance of DEI efforts supported by leaders is proven by the results of the multiple regression analysis, which revealed that inclusive leadership positively influences workers’ productivity. DEI policies are important, as the t-test results showed that DEI initiatives are vital to improving results in the workplace. A workplace based on inclusion, reports the study, helps staff feel more comfortable and therefore less likely to leave. There is a strong positive link between psychological capital and DEI perception, underlining that planned DEI strategies can help everyone become happier and stronger at work. For better results and an improved workforce in India, the research points out the importance of affordable DEI solutions, ethical DEI implementation processes, and well-organized DEI training. Future research should analyze long-term trends in DEI and use current data and monitoring to enhance Indian organizations’ predictive workforce models.
