Abstract: The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a significant paradigm shift in India's educational landscape, with technology envisioned as a transformative enabler. This paper critically examines the integration of technology in NEP 2020, analyzing its opportunities and challenges through theoretical frameworks such as Technological Determinism and the Diffusion of Innovation theory. It further explores the implications for equitable access, pedagogical innovations, teacher training, and digital infrastructure. The study concludes by offering strategic recommendations for leveraging technology in a way that is equitable, sustainable, and inclusive.
