Abstract: This article presents a comparative analysis of two approaches used for project submission for a Science and Technology Fair: generic online forms and a responsive web tool developed specifically for the event. The study aimed to assess the usability, operational efficiency, and management benefits afforded by the implementation of the new platform. The methodology involved the iterative and incremental development of the tool using the agile SCRUM approach, as well as a usability evaluation employing the System Usability Scale, applied to fair participants. The results demonstrated high acceptance and efficiency of the custom platform, with average SUS scores exceeding 75 points, indicating a good to excellent user experience. For the organizing committee, the solution significantly facilitated submission management and paved the way for future tool expansions. These findings underscore the importance of tailored platforms adapted to the needs of academic events, highlighting the potential of agile methodologies and modern web technologies.
