Abstract: To begin, we provide a high-level description of discrete mathematics and its use in the classroom, highlighting its distinctive mathematical techniques, concepts, and themes. We next discuss some potential benefits of focussing mathematics instruction on discrete mathematics. Discrete mathematics is discussed in this article along with its accessibility, its relationship to mathematical processes and effects, and its relevance to modern civilisation. The results show that these teachers think discrete mathematics is good for kids as it promotes critical thinking skills like mathematical reasoning and problem solving and for more flexible lesson plans. Since this is the case, educators want for discrete mathematics to be taught in classrooms. Several factors that affect the classroom teaching of discrete mathematics were also discovered by us. Numerous factors contribute to the under-representation of discrete mathematics in various settings, such as state curricula and assessments, the curriculum's emphasis on algebra and calculus in the past, teachers' viewpoints on the subject, students' ignorance of the material, and insufficient teaching materials and standards. In order to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the given problem, the researcher used statistical methodologies and processes to identify eight aspects. These are the ones that follow: 4. Preparing for the RBSE Maths Exam / 1. Responsibilities of CBSE's Senior Officials 5. The Books Committee's Role 6. Methods of Teaching 2. The Role of the Board, Improvement Channel, and Educational System 7. Keeping records 3. Proficiency in teaching 7. Student participation. The findings suggest that students find discrete mathematics engaging because it fosters critical thinking skills, such as problem solving and mathematical reasoning, and permits innovative approaches to lesson preparation. This makes the next generation of maths teachers believe that discrete mathematics should be taught in the traditional classroom setting. Several factors that affect the classroom teaching of discrete mathematics were also discovered by us.
