This study was conducted to assess the mathematics learning outcomes of students, identify the difficulties they face, and the Explanatory factors. This research is based on the analysis of student work during the first assessment of the "Mathematics 1" module. The goal is to evaluate students' learning outcomes achievements in mathematics throughout their educational journey. The methodology adopted, inspired by the international TIMSS survey, aims to ensure the validity of the evaluation. The results of this study are analyzed to improve the quality of mathematical training for future primary school teachers.
This work highlights the challenges these students face in mathematics, presents the adopted methodological approach, analyzes the results, and outlines the measures planned to enhance the quality of mathematics training for future primary school teachers.
