Factors impacting career decisions of students of technical colleges
Author(s): Harjeet Kaur
Abstract: This study examines the impact of parental and peer influences on students' career choices. It highlights that while parental guidance can be valuable, excessive pressure may lead to career misalignment. Peer influence can both motivate and pressure students. Effective career decision-making requires a balance between personal interests, parental advice, and peer support to ensure alignment with students' skills and aspirations.
