Abstract: The medical component of traditional knowledge that developed in the folk beliefs of many civilizations, including indigenous peoples, prior to the advent of modern medicine is known as traditional medicine, indigenous medicine, or folk medicine. This research examines the effects of one plant species of the rubiaceae family using pharmacognostic, phytochemical, and pharmacological techniques.
