Perovskite solar cell simulation based on perovskite CH3NH3PbI3 through SCAPS-1D simulation software

Abstract: Photovoltaic energy production in solar cells can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and toxic greenhouse gas emissions. Perovskite solar cells are, although lower in energy conversion efficiency, compare to any other types of solar cells. But, they have certain advantages such us low weight, flexibility and high absorption, and the process related to their preparation are has less expenses and lower complexity than silicon solar cells. These devices are composed of three main components: photo anode, active materials and cathode. In this article we have used CH3NH3Pbl3 as the active ingredient and optimized it with SCAPS simulation software.
