Abstract: In this study, we investigated the Factors Affecting students’ Academic Performance in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The twelve faculties in the institution were used for the research. A sample of undergraduate students served as the subjects. Descriptive statistics and Chi-square were used to analyse the research questions. The results show that lecturer’s-student relationship does not influence students’ academic performance but management-student relationship, student-student (peer) relationship and availability of facilities influences students’ academic performance. In line with these, recommendations were made which hopefully will help to cope with the effect of management-student relationship, student-student (peer) relationship and availability of facilities that influence students’ academic performance. The recommendations include: management organizing students-conference, acknowledging student accomplishment by the management, management should endeavour to regulate the number of students being admitted and provide prompt feedback to students’ requests.
